Saucy Jack

Everything @ Eleven is in some way derived from the content of the Spinal Tap universe, and so we have 'Saucy Jack'

In This Is Spinal Tap, Saucy Jack is a fictional, unproduced rock musical about the life of Jack the Ripper conceived by band members David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls.

  • The Scene: Near the end of the movie, when the band's career is flailing and they face the prospect of breaking up, David and Derek sit on a rooftop and try to comfort themselves by talking about how much "free time" they will have.
  • The Pitch: Derek reminds David about their ambitious idea first discussed at the "Luton Palace"—writing a rock opera musical centered on Jack the Ripper called Saucy Jack.
  • The Tease: They enthusiastically hum and sing a snippet of the opening number on camera:
"You're a naughty one, Saucy Jack! You're a haughty one, Saucy Jack!"

Saucy Jack or just Saucy if you like. We take known favourites and play them like a guitar rock band would. Not too seriously and sometimes quite silly. You will hear tunes from Cliff Richard to Ozzy Osborne and Duran Duran to Rhianna and everything in between. We sometimes do inhouse shows and sometimes appear on the bill opening for other bands. Join up and be a Zedhead to be in the know.

You're a naughty one Saucy Jack
You're a haughty one Saucy Jack

When the streetlamp gaslight flickers and fails
Then you see the last light glinting off the entrails

Oh naughty naughty naughty

You're a sneaky one Saucy Jack
You're a cheeky one Saucy Jack
First the whore says "Guv'nor fancy a squeeze?"
Next you will be shov'in her down the hole to Hades

Oh naughty naughty naughty

The scourge of London Town
(The scourge of London Town)
There'll be no rest till
You are a guest of The Crown

Naughty naughty naughty

You're a ghoulish one Saucy Jack
Not a foolish one Saucy Jack
Though the peelers track you early and late?
Slipping out the back you counter with a checkmate?
